How to keep your children safe online.
Monitor Online Activity: Keep computers, tablets, and phones in shared family spaces, and check regularly which websites and apps your child uses. Set Rules and Limits: Establish clear guidelines for screen time, approved apps, and websites, and discuss what is appropriate online behavior. Educate About Online Risks: Talk to your children about cyberbullying, scams, and the importance of keeping personal information private. Use Parental Controls: Enable parental control settings on devices, apps, and browsers to filter harmful content and manage access. Encourage Open Communication: Make sure your child feels comfortable reporting anything online that makes them uncomfortable or scared. Lead by Example: Model responsible online behavior, including respectful communication and mindful sharing of information. Stay Informed: Keep up to date with new apps, games, and online trends so you can guide your child effectively.
